Thank you for being...
My writings are memoir-esque, intimate, and lyrical, dancing within the fragrance of memory and the electric sensuality of the present. I am inspired by my ever-evolving journey as a Black, sapphic woman devoted to dreaming, doing, and Loving with reckless abandon.
This philosophy infuses into the pages of my work where I invite myself and readers to use our hearts as a compass.
Woven throughout my work are multi-dimensional contemplations on my life painted through my experiences of travel and life abroad. I define these entities as my wisest teachers and commune with them as a sacred portal.
In these layers, I journey, taking readers by the hand to dream, laugh, evolve, sink, and transcend together. Love resides here, after all.
With love,
Shalenah
